I installed the latest Firefox 3.6 on 9.10 64. I made sure I have the latest Java and Flash.

Seems to work good. I went to the jbox3d Java thingy like on the Firefox 3.6 video on the Firefox website. Works faster than the 3.5.x I had before.

What's funky is that on the Fureturemark's Peacekeeper online benchmark it is very slow like a score of 1600 on my Q9450. The older 3.5.x was substantially faster in the Peacekeeper test which was over 2500. I know that I can disable flash and the Peacekeeper seems to run without it.

Any ideas?

...well, i'd say firefox 3.6 is in it's infancy stage when it comes to ubuntu...haven't seen the version on the repo as of yet.
