Hi, I have created a forum it recently got wiped because of a mistake I made on my server. I would just like to indrotuce it and maybe conjure up some members. I'm sorry if this is against the rules please delete it. The forum url is http://www.superhappyjoyjoyfuntime.com it has no posts of yet but I encourage people to check it out, it's not really a traditional forum in that it has no subject. You can talk about anything as long as you acurately tag it. That is all I hope to see some of you there.

Make sure you followed this (http://www.linuxsecurity.com/content/view/121960/49/). If you're hosting a server from home, your bandwidth is very low, and can be attacked easily. I asked another forum to crash my server for security results. What I got was a crashed server and an article. If you don't follow this, your site can be DDoS'd very easily.

You're surprised that when you asked people to try to crash your server, they crashed your server?

I don't think he was saying he was surprised.

Absolutely not. I was asking for them to crash it, all I'm saying is that I got the exact result I was looking for. A successful attack, as well as info to prevent another one.
