On my HP TX2500 laptop, dual-booting Vista and 9.04, Ubuntu installation found the WLAN and it works fine.

I installed VirtualBox with Vista as the host and 9.04 as the guest. Wired Ethernet works fine but it didn't seem to find my WLAN. What more do I need to do?

OK, I see that I have Internet access. It shows up as wired Ethernet, even though I have pulled the plug. It looks like Virtual Box maps the WLAN connection in Vista to look like wired Ethernet in Ubuntu!?! So, I have Internet access. But why doesn't it detect my WLAN card and install access through it directly?
