Either people are keeping it pretty secret, or nobody knows about it, but it works!

For the most part I followed these steps: http://marcansoft.com/blog/2009/10/iphone-syncing-on-linux-part-2/
Mine's Jailbroken, but I don't think it needs to be for it to work.

Does this mean the iTouch can sync too?! Or am I just behind on these things?

Yeah, that's actually what I used (I said iPhone in my title because it works the same way). So yeah, it can :D

I tried this and it ended up screwing up my DB. I dunno if I did something wrong or what, all I know is that it doesn't work for me :(

I have couple of question......

1) My ipod touch 2G is not jailbroken and I use software 3.1.2. will it work?

2) I read that some users lost their songs as soon as they unplugged their iphones/ipod touch. Did this happen to you as well?

I have a "iPod Touch 3G" and now I'm able to "see" my ipod's content from Rhytmbox and gtkpod.

I followed some guide called "5 minutes sync with ubuntu" o something in the likes.

I haven't tried upload songs yet, but seems promising.
