Hello!
This is my first linux install. I installed ubuntu with wubi from windows. After reboot, I got the ubuntu logo for a few seconds and then weird graphics. I have waited because the hard drive was busy, and then the computer rebooted. Now, I can choose 'ubuntu' on the windows boot.ini loader, get to the grub loader but when I select the default mode, I get the ubuntu logo (in a higher graphics mode than during the install), but then again, weird graphics (text mode where each character block is colored randomly) after a few seconds. If i select the recovery mode, I can login but everything is in text mode :(
My computer specs:
Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe
Nvidia 6800 GS
Hyundai Q17 monitor
4 SATA drives, one external esata drive
Hauppauge WinTV
I could not find an install log or anything of help on the drive where wubi installed itself...
Thanks in advance for any advice :)
