I switched back to 9.04. I am curious. Am I alone, or are there others?

Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 is so much better then 9.04, so I don't think I'll be switching back. The Eee PC is much better supported.

Though I do see why desktop users might.

9.10 runs pretty smoothly on my Ubuntu desktop.

It works for some, but it doesn't for others.

Where's the poll option for "I tried 9.10, and then moved on to 10.04 LTS Daily Live"?

One word of note: 10.04 LTS's unofficial name is Lucid Lynx.

If you can afford to switch to 9.04, then surely you can afford to switch to 10.04 alpha 3. Your problems might be fixed, and you can help out with finding bugs, because I'll be darned if I can find any! :-)

Oh damn you aye! Encouraging people to switch to an ALPHA version of Ubuntu? Surely not! :lolflag:

9.04 was an excellent release. 9.10 is also very very good. I've had to fix a few issues with wifi by upgrading the kernel but once that was done it became 100% perfect (with an added bonus of open ATI drivers). Ubuntu and linux in general tend to get better with newer releases. You just need a little patience.
