Hey everyone.
I ran into some kind of trouble by buying a new notebook, a Acer Aspire AS3810 TZ. It hasn't a CD-ROM so that I brought a external too and tried to install Ubuntu 9.10, 64 bit, from it. Unfortunately does it not work. I changed my setting so that I boot from the USB connected CD- ROM but all that I get is:
/init: line 1: can't open/dev/sr0: No medium found
mount: mounting /dev/sr= on /cdrom faild: not such device or address
(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file system
