Login problem to different user

Hi,

I have made 4 users in my ubuntu 9.04 desktop. I opened a shell and try to change the user> I am successfully able to change the user but, it log out automatically after after some time(say 1 min).

How is this happening, Please help.

I guess that's a GDM thing. Open Settings > Login Window and look for the auto-logon option.
