So when I installed ubuntu on my laptop the first time I initially didn't seem to have any major problems. Well that ended eventually when I had to upgrade ubuntu. I was running a dual boot system with 7, ubuntu, and vista (vista was never used and I am working out that currently). Well after a couple updates grub just started acting ridiculous. The computer (acer aspire 5532) would start out normally with the logo screen and then go to GRUB loading and then just a blank white screen. No words, just white. it would sit there for a few seconds and then go back to the logo screen. Well I went through this a few times and then it seemed to have been fixed. After one of the last updates it happened again. this was amazingly frustrating as I had quite a good bit of stuff on here that I enjoyed having. I haven't taken the time to 7 back on but I will eventually. Is anyone else having this problem??? Does anyone have a solution??? Any help would be much appreciated.
