Hi,
As of today I decided to install Ubuntu on my laptop, so far with no success.
Whenever I throw in the bootable CD of Ubuntu, it doesn't load, or boot.
Nor does the USB-STICK version work.

Now on to the weird part:

Whenever I try it on two other different computers, they boot!
Normally I would say that this is a BIOS problem, but it just reads the CD-ROM first, and then USB, and then the HDD.
Oh, and I forgot to add: Whenever I put the normal windows disk in it, it just boots also.
Just not with Ubuntu..

Such a weird problem, does anyone have a possible fix?

PS.

Not completely sure if this is posted in the right section, if not, may it be moved to the right section? :)

Thanks!

Fixed!

Simply re-installed Windows XP Professional, and then went to BIOS and set USB as first priority. (Didnt had that choice before.)

So I got into Ubuntu, and installed it from there. :)
