Hello people,

I have downloaded thunderbird 3.0.1. ver. from its website. But I do not know how to install it on ubuntu. File named as thunderbird-3.0.1.tar.bz2

Anyone can help me?

It is better to add the mozilla builds to your software sources list. Then you can get the most recent version of FF & Thunderbird.
