Need to reinstall. What directories to keep?

Okay, here's the deal. I've somehow accidentally borked my system, and I need to reinstall.

The bad news is I have some drivers and things that I can't afford to reinstall. So, which folders should I save before reinstalling?

From most of the things ive read about save whats in the home folder use CTRL+H to see the hidden folders.:D
