VMware 7 on Ubuntu 9.10

So I'm having a bit of an issue installing VMware Workstation 7 on 9.10, 32-bit.
The screenshot says it all. I'm using the tutorial shown is the screenshot, but no luck.

I've done lots of searching before making this post, but I couldn't really find much. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
