I am proud of myself to convert about 150 people to use ubuntu as their only os.(Actually about 300 but some of them were gamers so dual boot).

Dang, you should start a support business; you'd do okay, you have a good base of clients anyway. I'd love to have 300ish clients, I could give up my day job.

In a way, I agree.

I find it hard to believe that you have enough influence over 150-300 people to cause them to change operating systems.

I don't think I even know 150 people, let alone 300 people.

Well.... through the forums, your circle of potential influence is in the thousands.

I guess I could rephrase it a bit. I have met and occasionally talked to over 300 people easily. However, I wouldn't say I know them. If I was to get married tomorrow, they wouldn't be invited to the wedding.

That make sense?
