Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit: Gnome Desktop
So, today I noticed that when I boot up, I get past grub, and splash screen fine but,as soon as the desktop loads, it freezes for about 45 seconds. No mouse movement or anything. Then when I do get mouse movement, my (auto hidden) top panel won't appear for another 15 seconds or so. Once everything gets going it's all normal. System monitor isn't telling me anything weird taking up mem or cpu.
I haven't done anything to my knowledge that could have caused this.Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance,
Smitty
