General install/uninstall

Hi,
I just installed keyutils manually by make commands.

How can I "uninstall" the files again? Is there an easy way? I know that I could have created a deb file somehow working with checkinstall then but as I already have made the source, what can I do now to find out which files have to be deleted(changed?

You know you typed "make install" in the sourcecode directory to install?

Type "make uninstall" and that should do the trick.

There are no stupid or dumb questions.

Mmmh, sorry to bother again but "make uninstall" didn't do it. It says there is no rule for uninstalling.

Are there any other possibilities?
