Which are your favorite Adobe Air Internet Applications?

There are many very nice applications here and many that can be used in Linux.

I like The Photographer's Ephemeris the best, but am always looking for other cool applications from Adobe Air.

I'd probably use Snackr more if they could make a lite version that acts like KNewsTicker from KDE 3.5.x.

I just found this Multi Line Calculator with print function that is pretty awesome, and it works in Linux | Mac | Windows.

That is very nice but at $3.45 a week for full access, that's $179.40 a year! over 6 years that is $1076.40...I do enjoy a good news source but I am on a budget. Awesome application overall I may keep it because it at least gives you headliners with the beginning of the article for free and I can always Google for the full article online.

it features all latest and greatest adobe air apps. i hvae discovered some really awesome stuff from here. eg. Splashup,uvlayer, etc.

I find Adobe Air is a massive resource hog. I uninstalled it after just a day or two.

Yea, I was under the same impression. The apps look nice and shiny, but they eat up 80% of your CPU cycles. All the time. What's up with that?

Even the simple timer apps are crunching CPU cycles like crazy. Not good for notebook battery life.

I haven't experienced any such things...not sure what is happening with other computers?

maybe for netbooks its a system hog. but for PCs adobe air apps are really good. i personally find it very difficult to tweet without a twitter client, the only ones which are functional/good are all adobe air apps.

there arent many desktop twitter clients for gnome, gwibber prolly comes close to being one. gwibber devs are oblivious to teething issues and i dont think i will ever use it as a true twitter client. the other day i discovered Choqok, a very useful KDE twitter client.
