Hello, I have had the use of ubuntu through the wubi site to try it out for a few months and then all of a sudden windows vista decided it does not like it.
I have wrote some stuff using only ubuntu and would like to get it back in ubuntu but when ever I try to down load ubuntu it gets to the end and stops with no warning and will not do the duel boot.......
VERY VERY PISSED OFF as it takes nearly two hours to download and with no warning it will fail, this has happened a few times.
I LIKE UBUNTU more than vista(bloated piece of @@@@)
1 How can I get ubuntu on cd or dvd
2 And if I have it on disk will it boot from that on start up
3 Where can I get it in the UK
This ran vista and ubuntu for ages with no problem and on power up I had the option of either vista or ubuntu

1. Go to this website to get Ubuntu on a CD or DVD http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/purchase

2. Yes the CD or DVD will boot when you turn your computer on.

3. See the 1st suggestion

Thanks if all else fails will buy one or get one free as this comp is a duel-core celeron e1200 and has 2meg mem with a 160 gb hard drive it has more than enough to run ubuntu I am not going to get a new machine as this is only 3 yrs old and the processor was upgraded by me last year.
Downloaded it and burnt it to cd
