I may be wrong but bbc content besides live streaming and podcasts are unavailable outside the uk.

I thought BBC I Player worked for all countries ?

Don`t know for sure, I`m in the uk and it works for me.

Same in Norway. Though BBC are cutting edge on several scenes their iPlayer haven't been available for people outside the UK as far as I know.

The iPlayer is for the UK only. Unless BBC America. Except radio feeds. I think.

Sorry I didnt realise BBC I player was UK only, if anyone has any problems with the other link please let me know.

I also believe the iPlayer is UK only, something to do with the license fee I would guess.

I remember a bit of a fuss a while ago about people inside the UK being unable to use it, because of the way their ISP's connected them to the Internet.

You could always try downloading it using get iplayer. That is what I did and then used gnome sound converter to convert it to an MP3 so I could listen to it on my MP3 player.

Well, for me iplayer for some reason doesn't work(maybe because I am not in the UK), so I recorded the stream from the rtsp link in .wav and from there encoded it in .ogg
