There is a function in Win 7 when you put a bunch of wallpapers in one folder, you can choose if you want all of them to change.I wonder if there's something similar in Ubuntu?

good one, though it's not an available option in ubuntu... i know what u mean but to do a slide show you can make a script which will change your default wallpaper...

I remember in the synaptic a little app. called wallpaper-tray.Its an applet,so after install right click on a panel,add to panel,and look for it. I know its on 9.04,but I don't know if its on karmic.

Thank you moongia, i downloaded that in a .deb file, but it was for a 32 bit one, so i thought there isnt a 64 bit version, until i checked synaptic.Thanks again.
