View Full Version : UNR 9.10: How low can I go?

Trying to install UNR9.10 on a Asus EEEpc 2G Surf (701 variant boasting 2GB onboard SSD).
The installer keeps whining about 'Not enough room' - and ultimately fails to complete the process. Fair enough...
Tried reinstalling to a 4GB SDcard instead, and found the final size of all installed files to be in the area of 2.3 GB - just a wee bit too much to fit on the internal - faster - SSD. Damn...

OK then - next tried to put / on the SSD and /var + /home on the SDcard to see if this would help me shoehorning UNR into the bloody thing. No go. Still not enough room. Damn...

Hmmmm...

Being familiar with the Debian installer which allows me to make choices during install, related to 'how much' - i'm now wondering if a similar choice or option lies hidden in the UNR installer, and i'm just too dumb to find it.
Really, I don't need all the programs the UNR installer insists on stuffing the SSD with.

So, how do I get to choose what goes onto the SSD?

Thanks in advance,
Martin
