Greetings,

I opened unetbootin-windows-393 because I wanted to install Ubuntu netbook remix on my netbook.

I found the iso file on my hardrive under downloads and picked Type: Hard Disk and Drive: C:\

I thought when I went through this process, it would ask my about partitioning, but it never did.

What happened?

Mary

See if this (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WindowsDualBoot#Using GParted from UNetbootin-PartedMagic) can help you.

Unetbootin doesn't install Ubuntu, it merely copies the ISO file to another drive and makes it bootable. The primary use of Unetbootin is to turn the Live CD into a "live USB" - that is, make a USB flash drive do the work of the CD. You can then use the flash drive to install Ubuntu to your hard disk.

Also, for obvious reasons, you can't erase the hard disk that your computer is currently running off!
