I needed to delete a single line from a word doc and my first instinct was to hit dd. It took me a second to think about the word way of doing things...

I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of vim, but still have a lot to learn. My cheat sheet is never far away.

Yeah, I usually type :w on other text editors.

If you were REALLY one of the cool kids, you'd type it up in vim and then just open the finished file in Word and save as a .doc

Vim is quite nice though. I definitely agree with that.
