well i have been using Ubuntu for almost 6 months now without a partition with
windows on it. Today I was board and started browsing the software center.
I really admittedly haven't really scoped it out yet. Omg there are a lot of apps to
choose from. I am convinced with out a doubt that Ubuntu Linux + Open source
software makes for the best computing experience a person could ever hope for.
So I wanted to say thanks to the Ubuntu team and all those who made the open
source movement possible:D

I like it as well. I also like that you can set something to install while browsing and queuing more software. Also they plan on improving and integrating it quite a bit in future versions.

I vote for a "Say thanks" sub-forum, so all these "omg, I love open source, thanks Ubuntu!" threads won't litter the cafe.

We already have one. It's the Testimonials section.

But does it really matter? The Cafe is pretty much a variety of gibberish that clutters it up anyway.

Don't see the litter here.. It's a café, so nothing wrong with people saying thanks for whatever reason.

And soon this thread will be moved to testimonials anyway..
