Ive got a Portable HDD with Ubuntu and a Grub Boot menu, so when I load from it, I can choose Ubuntu, or the main operating system of the computer used on.
I was thinking.

Would it be possible for me to make another partition, and install Windows 7 or Windows XP?
I only use Windows for compatiability, and will only need about 20GB MAX of storage.

Good day to all you Ubunters!

For definitive answers on the XP question (which I believe will be "no"), you can check with the NeoSmart Technology forums. They do quite a lot of work with customizing XP setups.

For definitive answers on the Win7 question (which I believe will be "no"), you can check sevenforums.com -- the best Win7 forum I have seen. They have tutorials on how to install Win7 from USB, but I believe that you can't run it from USB. Best to check with them to be certain.
