Compiz animation effects removed?

My favourite animation effect is flame and it is no longer and option, what gives? Can't find anything about it's removal here or on a general web search. The Compiz.org site also has not mention of it's removal. All the other effects except beam are still there and work.

I found an explanation and a workaround. Apparently the plug-in in question and a few other things where in the compiz experimental package. That package was in 9.04 and before by mistake, and is no longer in the repos.
