I am used to upgrading. my latest upgrade showed something weird to my display screen. every time i open my ubuntu karmic, all the folders of "home" are displayed in my desktop. I tried to remove these folders, but everything also are deleted in the home folders. when i cut these folders and paste to the >>places>home>>art>> it will ask for merging. I call for merging, do the replace but it said to skip. When I cancel or skip the process everything is gone and the desktop seemed to freeze. I can not refresh the desktop. I still can open all applications, places and system menu. but when i open my trash, all these folders are displayed again.

I am annoyed with this phenomenon. Please help me.
