Ok so I have an EEE PC 1000HE. I installed Snow Leopard 10.6.1 on it and everything works well, except Finder is the biggest piece of trash I've ever used. I hate finder so much I decided I would like to go back to Ubuntu. However, I have run into a few issues along the way, any help is GREATLY appreciated.

My issue:
I can't seem to make a bootable Flash drive that has the Ubuntu Netbook Remix on it.

What I've done:
I downloaded the 9.10 remix and followed the Mac OSX instructions on here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick
This big issue is, they don't seem to work. My EEE won't boot off the drive, it just skips it and moves on (even when I select the Flash drive to boot off of in the boot selector).

Is there another set of instructions or another way to make a jump drive bootable in mac because these instructions don't seem to be working?

Please help, I'm trapped in Mac and I want to shoot myself for installing this stupid OS!!!
