Hi,

Can you install Ubuntu onto a USB PenDrive and then boot it on a PS2?.

Can you install Ubuntu onto a USB PenDrive and then boot it on a PS2?.

I have tried to hook a thumb drive to a PS2 before and it did not work. I was attempting to use one as a large memory card. So my answer is most likely no. You could install Linux on a PS2 if you had the original PS2 with the hard drive add on. Also, the PS2 USB ports are USB 1.1 not USB 2.0.
