I'm currently using Ubuntu 9.10, but the webcam I have doesn't work with it. It works fine with my XP box, so I'm happy enough to leave it attached to that. I was wondering whether anybody could recommend a webcam that works "out of the box" with Ubuntu 9.10. I'm UK based, so would prefer to purchase from UK based retailers for shipping speed. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

click video try v4l1 or vyl2

get the programs ( cheese and or wxcam )
1 or the 2 will see your cam after gstreamer-properties
