i would like to go from a wubi install to a full install of linux.
do i have to first erase wubi from windows and then put in the linux cd and reboot to a full install.

i have a new ubuntu 9.10 cd, was just wondering if i have to erase wubi first then i would like to do a fresh install.

You don't have to erase Wubi first. You can copy your wubi installation to a real partition with this: Migrate to real partition. (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide#How%20do%20I%20migrate%20to%20a%20real%2 0partition,%20and/or%20get%20rid%20of%20Windows%20entirely?)
I used it on another computer successfully but some people recommend the full install route.
