How to play DVD on WMP 11?

Hey Guys, It might be easy to answer to my question, but I am really pissed off. I cant play DVD on my laptop using WMP 11, It ask for right codec’s and redirects me to windows site but till yet I couldn’t find out the right codec for it I tried it several times, either I have to play DVD in media direct or Divx player but how do I play it in WMP. Any solutions should I get it from you all, which specific codec should I use to play DVD format movies. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

download and install k-lite mega codec pack first then try playing DVD on WMP 11.
