dear sir i have recently installed ubuntu 9.10 and i cannont connect to internet
i m usning huawei wireless ets 2577 fixed wireless terminal.
before this i tried ubuntu 5.10 but the same problem was there no driver
according to the search in the in google now in ubuntu 9.10 it detected my modem ( but i m not sure) .
now to i m trying to create a dial-up connection but there in no more wvdial app
i downloaded the packages for this app from internet using windows xp pro
bu now when i tried to install them through synaptic package manager i got the following error:
E: Type 'e' is not known on line 54 in source list /etc/apt/source.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E:_cashe>open() failed. please report.
please help to solve this issue
