running Ubuntu 9.10. I have a shared folder, it's location is /usr/media/harddrive/share
i don't know if it's everytime somebody accesses this folder from the network, or for some other reason. But I'll walk away from the computer for a day or so. and when i return, this shared folder is usually open about 80-90 instances. usually with an error message box as well stating that 'the contents of this folder cannot be accessed'. both windows require me to close them manually (if i don't just say 'F-this' and reboot the system).
Why would this be happening, and how can I stop it?
