Hello,

I'm trying to make a shortcut (either desktop or to the Applications menu, both is fine to me) of a game.
The game runs fine in Adobe Flash Player 10 when I browse to it and double click.
However when I make a shortcut it just uses a single command;

/games/gamex
Which strangely does open Adobe Flash Player 10, but showing a black screen.

How are you trying to make the shortcut?

What game is this exactly? A flash game playing in a browser?

Right click on applications, Edit Menus and add a new item to the list. I simply browse to the game, select it and voila.
Or I make .Desktop file on the Desktop.
The game is Machinarium and I have it installed, so not on the Internet.

Did you try creating a shortcut by click right on desktop >add launcher and try?

Seems like a flash issue to me.I may be wrong.

I just played the demo now though.Looks awesome :)

Yes I tried that.
It does seem to work, when I move the entire content of the games folder to my home folder.
Kind of an ugly solution I guess, so if anyone knows another way let me know :P

And yes, the game looks very nice and it's fun too ;):D

I just finished the demo :D

The full game plays full screen? Demo runs in browser.

That works because the game needs to be run out of its installed directory. The menu launchers run out of your home.

I posted my solution in this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=9739529&postcount=27).
