I have been trying for some time now to install kubuntu on my MacBook, but have been unable to.
I can boot from the CD and go through the installation process, but when I reboot from the linux partition the screen goes blank after the screen where I choose to boot normally or in recovery mode.
I have tried ubuntu, kubuntu and xubuntu, as well as installing with ACPI, APIC, and LAPIC disabled, and all combinations thereof.
Has anyone had a similar problem, or have any idea how to fix it?
