Installing Ubuntu 9.10 on Windows

after i completed installing ubuntu on windows, i can't install Windows' softwares on it.. how to solve it?

You can start by providing some details ... you've given us almost nothing to go on.

For example, HOW did you install 9.10? Inside Windows using Wubi? Outside Windows to its own partition?

If the second, how did you shrink the Windows partition to make room for Ubuntu?

And, really important, which version of MS Windows?

Also, you don't install "softwares", you install applications. So, which ones specifically are failing?

And when they do fail, what error messages are you getting?
