When I want to install Ubuntu 9.10, it gives me three options.. (I have not restarted the computer yet, just after I put the CD in...

I choose the second option, Install Ubuntu ON windows, means it will run as any other Windows application and I can uninstall it when I want.

So that's what I did, but I have a question... I have to set some "settings" and one of them is the "Install Size" or something.

By default it is 17 GB, should I leave that, make it more or less, what are the effects?

Thanks

the install size depends on how many files you want to save in the ubuntu directory if you dont plan to save many files then set the size to about 5 or 6gb but i would recomend maybe 8 or 10gb unless you will save a lot of files.

also i have never donbe this so i am assuming it will work like a virtual machine.

Easy answer - if not sure, keep the defaults. ;)
