I recently downloaded the most recent security updates. As they were being installed, my computer froze. so I waited a while, and it was still frozen, so I turned it off. Now when it boots up, it boots up fine, but it wont reconize the mouse or keyboard. I have it in an external enclosure, an I put it into the computer itself to boot, and I had the same problem. I tried booting from the enclosure with my desktop, and still no luck. The only thing that changed was the installation of the updates. I dont have much of the data backed up onto another drive, and running the live CD to gain access to the files didnt help because it says I dont have the permissions to access the files. Can anyone help me?
