Well my flickr quota of 200 photos is pretty much on the brink of being completely used up. and i really dont want to pay $25 for a pro account. photography is just a hobby for me, not worth 25 bucks :)

any good alternatives to flickr? preferably one which offers a free account.

And Photobucket at http://photobucket.com/

Check them out both free.

It's $2 a month. It won't break you.

now that is an awesome alternative. will give it a try. i had always used picasa as a dumping ground for images used on my blogger blog which i once upon a time had. never gave it a serious thought, but i will have to check it out now.

I use Dropbox exclusively. There's nothing like organizing your shared folders in the file manager, pulling the sharing links in the file manager, and never having to interact with a website for anything. The fact that it works without a hitch with any file of any type or size is certainly a bonus. I never have to think about it.

NoScript breaks your site, but after it was disabled.... your site seems pretty awesome.

I hadn't heard of some of these websites. Thanks for sharing, guys! I use Picasa and Photobucket.

Picasa has a much nicer interface. Although I heard you have to be careful of the syncing of photos. If you delete a photo on your computer, it might delete the photo from your online album too.

http://500px.com/ has been getting pretty popular. Considering registering for it but have been lazy. Wait I mean busy.

I prefer to manage my photos locally, and use a service like imgur.com when I want to share them.
