I am trying to install the latest version of Ubuntu on a new Toshiba L505D laptop with Windows 7. Drive is partitioned for dual boot. CD copy of Ubuntu checks good. Installation starts ok, but about five minutes in when prompted to choose the language I prefer I have NO control of the cursor or anything else. None of the keyboard keys work, arrow keys don't work, touch pad does not work, external mouse does not work. Very frustrating. ANyone have the solution?
