Strange line in the Nautilus Places side bar

Friends,

I have been experiencing a strange thing for some time now, and it bothers me to no end. I use Nautilus as my file manager, with the side bar displaying the Places view (mounts, bookmarks, etc.). Every now and again, a strange line will appear in this view (see attachment). I have no idea what this line signifies. The only way I can get rid of it is to toggle the side bar view.

Does anyone know the function of this line? Is this a bug I should report via launchpad?

It must be a drawing bug, because I have never seen this on my system.

chewearn (or anyone), assuming I would like to report this drawing bug, how would I go about it? I know how to report an issue into Launchpad; what I mean is, what data should I attempt to collect that would be pertinent?
