View Full Version : [gnome] Make Slideshow Screenlet Display Images Sequentially?

I have a folder of images for every minute of the day named as follows:

0000.jpg, 0001.jpg, 0002.jpg,...2357.jpg, 2358.jpg, 2359.jpg

There are 1,440 images total. I'd like to use the Slideshow screenlet as a clock to display these images. I've started an instance of Slideshow, pointed to the folder as the source, and have it set to change images every minute, but I can't figure out how I can get the Slideshow screenlet to display them sequentially; it displays them randomly.

If a sequential setting is possible, can someone point it out?

I've also tried to set the Slideshow screenlet to use recursive folders, and put 0000.jpg into a folder named 0000, put 0001.jpg into a folder named 0001, etc. This did not work.

I'm not bound to the idea of using the Slideshow screenlet as my clock, either, so I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks!

Still trying here and there to figure this out. No luck yet, but I'll keep looking.
