ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 update

Hello,
I have a weird problem with my 9.04 version.
I installed it a month ago, I've set the updates to "normal releases" in the software sources, and now that I want to upgrade it to 9.10, the update manager doesn't propose me the 9.10 release upgrade.
Anyone could help?

Make sure you have all the 9.04 updates installed,I believe your 9.04 system has to be up to date before you get the upgrade option.

update manager says 'your system is up-to-date', and still...
and actually, if I remember well, when I first installed 9.04 from the old CD I had burned, update manager was proposing an upgrade to 9.10, and maybe I clicked 'upgrade' at the time, and then canceled it or something.
Anyway, the upgrade option didn't show up since then...

You might try upgrading threw the terminal
