Just stumbled this.
http://www.entourageedge.com/devices/entourage-edge.html
The only problem is that it only has 3GB of usable space. Other than that, looks great.

How can you kill something that isn't for sale yet?
But definitely an interesting device. What OS is it running?

There are HEAPS.
Anything with usb ports, complete control over your hardware/software, multitasking, expandable storage, removable battery, 16:9 aspect ratio, a camera, some sort of HD video output, flash, and a normal sim card is a potential iPad killer, and none of those are particularly difficult.
Why are so many stating it will be copied by others?
These gadgets have been shown for ages now.
Archos 5:

Available now!
Crunchpad:

Touch Book

This one was shown way back in March 2009:
It's a tablet convertible which is pretty cool IMO.
A Tegra 2:

Freescale:

HP Mininote:

(Which is a hybrid, and is likely to fail IMO.)

Apple is not an innovator with the iPad.
They haven't shown one single innovative thing in either design or use.

And plenty more.
Personally, I like the look of this from MSI: http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/28/msis-10-inch-tablet-launching-this-year-at-500-patently-ignor/
or the Archos 7 or Notion Ink Adam. The ASUS Eee tablet could be interesting too.

So it uses both a color display and e-ink? That's pretty nice. Sounds like an ideal device for educational institutions.

Looks like the Recurring Discussions forum has just been made redundant.

I'm sure his love of Apple, and the thread's criticism of an Apple product is entirely coincidental.
