couldnt find anywhere else to post this.

It is confusing that there are mplayer, totem, xine, plugger, and realplayer (maybe more) browser plugins.

What is the difference? is it recommended that i install them all? which would you recommend?

i wanted to get plugins working in opera. what happens if theyre all intalled, how does the browser choose?

what (combination) SHOULD i install?

You need the plugin for the meida player you use. I think mplayer is known to work well.

I use mplayer's browser plugin, and it has worked on 100% of sites I've needed it for.

Does MPlayers browser plugin display videos at fullscreen size like VLC's does or does it display them in their correct resolution and with a progress bar like Quicktime Plugin does?

Like the Quicktime Plugin.
However, you can of course switch to fullscreen if you want to.
