Text Complete is a plugin for Firefox that give you short cuts to entering common used test, such as the email signature. First you have to associate you signature with a word, MYSIG for example, then press Ctrl+M and Text Complete will replace MYSIG with your prewritten signature.
Is that a generic Gnome or free desktop compatible program that can bring that functionality to all programs.
