So awhile back I tried to use Ubuntu 9.10 and experienced some problems... Now I'm back at it and need some help fixing my screen resolution. I have TNT M64 W/32MB in my box and all I want is to set my screen resolution to 1024x768... I have a Sun 24" monitor so I can't really work with the default 800x600... I tried using xrandr and I "tried"to change my xorg.config.... Any help would be helpful

Are any Restricted Drivers supported at: System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers. I am not sure if the legacy driver will support it. If it does, then it should work fine.

Apparently it doesn't.... I use 1024x768 in xp using the same card is there not a way to force it to 1024x768?

I don't think the old TNT cards are supported very well. You might be better off getting a newer card. Just on a lark though, go into your BIOS and see if there is a "Screen Stretch" setting or something similar sounding and make sure it's enabled.
