Hey guys, redirect if this is posted somehwere, i DID search.
Here is the set up:
HP mini netbook with Ubuntu9.10. Everything is great but one minor thing.
It has speakers and a microphone. But also a SINGLE plug in which makes the mic in - headphone out share the plug.
My plan was to use the plug strickly for headphone out and use the microphone next to the webcam as input for skype chat.
How can i make this possible?
I have tried adjusting the setting in the system > preferences > sound window and is works to turn of the speaker but not to select which microphone to use.
