HAL and the hardware detection of this USB U9.04 operating system -
made from an install off a live USB on a different computer ( a Dell) and plugged into a sick laptop -
has been nothing short of amazing.
But I can only do anything really in the recovery root terminal . . .
as I have about 1 minute on the laptop Jaunty desktop before I lose all optical mouse and keyboard functions.
The touchpad never works.
